Wow! It's been a month since the last time I blog on something.. Pretty busy, don't you think? Well, that's the life of a working and at the same time nursing mom.. Yeah, you heard it right.. I'm currently working for an IT company and I am also nursing my 14 month old baby girl full time since birth.. It's kinda hard, but I still manage to breastfeed her because I intend to do it until he turns 2 years old..

I read a lot online. I even subscribe to online newsletter for wealthy & helpful information about parenting.. It's not easy being a parent most specially if you are a first time mom, but having a dose of information on-hand makes it a lot easier than you think. Super thanks to Smart Parenting and Good housekeeping Magazines. You are teaching your readers to be the best mom they could ever be to their child(ren). I learned tips & tricks that makes my parenting style a lot better. Now, I became an avid reader of your magazines. I make sure I grab a copy everytime I do my grocery shopping. Btw, I subscribe to your e-Mag via Zinio starting this month for 12 months. Now, I can read your magazine, anytime & anywhere.

I registered to Smart Parenting online site to know about everything in relation to parenting. There are a lot of forums in which you can join in,  raise your parenting concern & dilemmas, and meet other moms who can teach you life's lesson and show you real life scenarios they experience along the way. Remember, "Experience is the best teacher".

1st Blog Entry.. Again!

I used to blog before. As you may know, I love to write. I even share it with friends. But suddenly, I stopped because of some reasons. Got no time, and lose my interest in writing. And now, believe it or not, I love to write all over again. I missed the feeling that I can express my thoughts thru writing. Special thanks to My Mom-Friday for bringing back the old me again. I was inspired by her writings to nurture what I was neglected before. 

So here it is.. My ever first blog post again. I'll feature my life as a Working Mom & my  smart little girl. So please, keep on reading.

Being a working mom is not easy. Most especially if you breastfeed your baby full time. I have to pump breastmilk before going to bed and after waking up, making sure that my baby have enough milk to drink for the whole day while I am away. The main purpose why I am doing all of these is because I want my child to get the best nutrients she needs as she grows. I believe in the power of breastmilk. "Breastmilk is best for babies". Most Doctors recommend it to the new moms and moms-to-be. I am currently on the 12th month of breastfeeding. And I wanted it to take all the way until 24th month (I hope I still can). 

I got some evidence how smart our princess becomes because of breastmilk. She's really a fast learner. Easily pick up things. And what can I say, really smart.. On her 11th month, she knew the song "Bilog, bilog, bilugan. Asignment, assignment, suntukan". She even put it in action and dance with it. We are happy knowing our child got the best she could ever get from her milk. 

Before her 1st birthday, we are looking for a perfect gift for her. We brought her with us, so she can bond with us too. While we were shopping, look what she did. She went down, got the wagon, and went shopping (as if she knows what she's doing). I am so proud of this little girl.

She's also a Tech Savvy. LOL! She even cries as hard as she could just to give her what she wants.. Laptop. Mind you, this little girl already has a future.. 

She's my back up during working hours.. LOL
